"Elkhorn Creek"mine "Water Tower"

    Nice job, Randy! Last summer I saw a very similar tower in use at the Huckleberry Railroad - an 1880s line near Flint, MI. Unfortunately, I didn't get pictures of it, but will rectify that the next time I stop down there.

    We stopped there early in the summer - the tank had been emptied for the winter, and hadn't totally swelled back up - there was still some leakage from the joints.

    ya I would of liked to seen that water tower you saw in real life,:rolleyes: for I've only seen pictures and models.:oops: I want to say tho I really love this scale :p"On30", for giving us the fun of scratch building larger structures. :thumb: I think I'll go now and put some oil on that new water tower!:wave: Randy
