electric motor question

    im looking at the motor that comes with the hpi dash. b4 it, it shows a number 380. what does that stand for. i think iv seen a number like that in boat motors.

    I don't think you can change that motor.

    that is what is how people classify their motors. usually it is the type or size of the motor.

    380 is the can size of the motor.standard 1/10 scale motor can size #is 540 or 550.380 is much smaller and generaly used with AA size cells un like the 540 using C size cells.
