I decided to take a break from spaceships while I decided what to work on next and finally put together the ED209 kit I had been saving for a while. It is standing on the unfolded Caldari Kestrel I plan on making next.

Fun kit. Kudos to the person who designed it. Seems to be the only ED209 I can find out there and it beats buying the toy collectible for $700.

Great build and weathering effects.

Also there is another 209 over at paper-replika :)

I have also built the 209 Zecks made, and the one above seems to be more detailed.

Great job! :thumb: I actually just watched RoboCop for the first time about a month ago, and wanted to build up an ED-209. Then I forgot about it. Now I see yours and it reminded me that I need to start an ED-209 for my own collection.

That is very nice looking, congrats!

I built one too, a year ago (the battle damaged version).
Although I rushed the building process a little (I've always liked the Robocop movie, and I got a little excited/impatient), the end result is satisfactory (to my taste), and the legs mechanism is astute, making this poseable ED-209 a great toy! (although I don't let my 4yo son play with it :p)
