    I Sent This Already!

    To Whom It May Concern;

    It has been brought to my attention that an individual on eBay (sullyman22) is selling a very large collection of digital paper model designs (including Canon's Papercrafts) freely obtained from the internet without the approval of the copyright owners.

    This is probably a minor matter for Canon, but I assure you it is not a small matter for the numerous paper model designers that have been impacted greatly by this blatent infringement of their copyrights.

    The seller clearly states that the models have been freely obtained and are therefore "in the public domain", thereby allowing carte blanche to burn them onto a DVD and purvey them on eBay without securing any copyright permissions whatsoever.

    Several paper model designers/hobbyists have already contacted eBay but the following listings are still up:

    Item Number(s):
    290105463080
    290105463987
    290105464692
    290105465374
    290105466075
    290105466757
    290105467388
    290105468078

    It wouldn't cost Canon a cent and you'd gain a lot of goodwill within the paper model community (several of whom use your printers and recommend them highly) if you were to send a simple email to eBay about this urgent matter and request to have the listings ended immediately.

    Thank you.

    Email For Yamaha Artist

    Hi again;

    I sent a similar email to Nobutaka at:

    n-muko@vesta.dti.ne.jp

    Judging from his photo, I think he takes his work very seriously...

    Hopefully this will get some action.:twisted:
