I really like all the e-passes, they are really neat. I have a friend that just retired from CN railway, he has a real rail pass that can be used on amtrak. Not sure if he would let me make a copy of it and post it here. But i will ask.

If anyone is still interested in these, I'll trade one for one. Heck, I'll give ya' one even if you don't have one to give back. Just send your name to me at cannonball.o27@sbcglobal.net. I would like to know your general location as well but I understand there are those who don't like giving away that info on the net.

I just registered the domain name today so the site won't be active for a day or two.

Edit: Changed it up a bit.

    E-Pass

Been Railroading for over 30 years, just retired so I have more time. Joined the Guage today as I have been scratchbuilding and kitbashing for a long time. Also found the pass exchange. Great, cause the best I can tell and based on the old NMRA magazine, I think I created the first E-Pass!. Never thought it would go world wide. Here is a link to see and get the current version of the CVRR E-Pass! and I will be happy to exchange with all of you. http://home.houston.rr.com/cvrr I would have attached the pass but it lost a lot when I tried to reduce size and color depth to meet the guage requirement for file size.

Hey Jim! Great to have you on board here at the Gauge! Welcome!

With your idea of the e-railpass you opened a new dimension of our fine hobby for me. Thanks again for your invention! :thumb:

It's really fun to get all these passes from all over the world.

And congratulations for your retirement - you'll see, you will NOT have more leisure time than before. Always busy and always lots of things to do... (I know, I retired half a year ago! :) )

I was so intent on re-sizing your pass, I forgot to say: "Welcome Aboard" :D

That's a great story - It's great to have someone, who has had such a positive impact on the hobby, as a member here.. :D :D

    All,

I converted my E-Pass to a thumbnail to get it reduced in size so that I could post it. Hope you enjoy. Send me an e-mail and I'll make sure you get one from the CVRR. Remember if your ever around Houston Texas, its always good for a free ride on the CVRR.

Unfortunately, the way I've been spending money on this hobby it looks like I'll go bankrupt long before that offer from BNSF comes in. :D

Hey, since you just got bought out by them but came back, are your passes still valid? That and maybe you should add E-Bay to your blocked sites on your firewall so you don't spend even more money? That, and maybe you should learn how to scratchbuild stuff too:D

    Thanks!

I noticed though that it's in the ID Badge Gallery instead of the E-Pass Gallery :D
