dura trax mini quake ???

    dose the RC18T use a standard motor/ battery pack?

    standard meaning 1/10 scale 540 size? No it takes 280 size motor and for electronics its a micro esc. The battery is a saddle pack but its not C size batterys.

    ok are extra batterys more expancive than standard 7.2 1/10 packs?
    and are the motor upgrades avalable for them?

    yes there are motor upgrades for it, i have the reedy mini max and it flys! the 4 wheel drive kicks @$$ too

    they sound like a lot of fun but i wonder how they compare to the mini quake.
    the quake looks alot more robust and there is a straight swap for a brushless motor.

    well for a brushless set up you need a esc that can handle the motor, like the Mamba 25 which will work in eather of the cars, 18t or Quake. Battery prices vary. Ive heard good things about the 18t and bad things. Itis really up to you!
