This 0n30 Dunkirk is a Bolder Valley models body kit sitting on an H0 Athern SW1200 chassis.

Very cool, Shamus! ;cool:
I'm not familiat with a Dunkirk locomotive.
What was the prototype it is based on?

That's brilliant shamus.

Can I ask - is the lump in the middle where the motor for the SW is protypical? I know the dunkirks had their engine there, like class A climaxes, but did it look like that in real life?

If it did then I would consider building one of those in HO

Cheers,
Neil

Its not the engine that you can see,you cannot see the motor at all. Its the furnishings inside.here's a photo
side on for you.

That photo is much clearer. Thanks!

I've seen a couple of photos on the gearedsteam website but they all suggested that you could see through the loco at floor level between the doors.

It's a gorgeous model - did you make the truck side frames or are they commercial parts?
