double crossover

With dcc it will be easier to use than with dc. Typically, commercially made double crossovers will have both tracks and all of the turnouts wired common. If you want to have one track running in one direction and the other in the opposite direction with dc, you will need to cut gaps in various places on the turnout. With dcc, the direction is determined by the decoder in the locomotive not the track polarity, so it is just plug and play. The only exception to this is if the double crossover is used at the entrance/exit of a return loop.
