Does anyone Model old FL. railroads in "O" Gauge/Scale

Just starting out in "O" and I am interested in modeling Florida Railroads, from the Seaboard to the FEC and beyond.the double main line will run arround a 14 by 18 room.
Does anyone model the Florida railroads and if so Suggestions are welcome.

Welcome to The Gauge, Jon. :wave: Sounds like a neat project. I have a free-lanced N-scale layout that is set in the Panhandle.

If you're looking for prototype information, the Florida Memory Project has lots of different rail-related pictures in their online photo gallery. There are also several websites for specific Florida Railroads.

Florida really does have an interesting rail history with lots of different types of operations: passenger, logging, and heavy-haul. Besides, you won't have all those mountains to build.:D
