I know what you mean I have three big sods on the go right now and my other half does the odd war dance. But she knows it stops me from cracking up

I still could not hold back on it though

Savage will do for me, great build mate.

Hi all

Not much has been done this week as I had to do some work

Some more fittings added to the bridge section and the ladders finished.

More tomorrow as I don't have any work to do :D :D

That's one crazy staircase looking ontime for the finish. I think I will have to give the moths a breath of air and buy a new plank for Fuso.

Enjoy your day

Hi Barry

Go to B&Q and buy some end of range laminate flooring thats all I use and you can glue the water line models straight to it with the UHU glue and it comes off quite well with some wire without any damage to the model.
Its also cheap due to beeing end of a product line or damaged.

Just a thought

The tower looks superb, Rob! You've done a heck of a job on the ladders wrapping around it! :D

Hi all

Some photos of what I have been up to with Yamato.

Still some bits to fit but Iam getting there  just the odd few dozen bits to fit.

All four planes now on deck and I will try to sling one from the crane when I do the rigging. Going will be slow now as I will try to put rails and other extras on her.

More later with luck

Great going, Rob! :D

One thing...have you thought about where you're going to put her once you're done? I just so happen to have a nice, big vacant spot in my living room....

How are you planning on making the rails? Soldering wire, thread, photo etching?

Sure looking forward to more photos!
Raimund is right, she is impressive!!
Super job!

Hi Jim

I have six racks in my work room that will take at least 12 beasts of this size  loads of room, converted loft.

As for the rails I hope to try to do them out of wire, cotton and paper just to see what is best and if I can do it!! Should be fun.

Glad to see Conny's on the go, great stuff.

Regards

Rob
