Designing ZGMF-X56S Impulse Gundam

Hi All...
I'm quite new here. or most recently inactive actually.

I was starting a project somewhile ago, designing a Gundam from Seed Destiny series. If you know it will be an Impulse Gundam. I'm kinda halfway now, but already finished with the 3D thingy, kinda working on a test build my self, and a proper building instruction.

I will share the model once finished. For those of you who know, the released version will be for all of the three original impulses; Force, Sword and Blast. And yes, it will be transformable, posable and most importantly deformable (into core splendor, chest flyer, silhouettes and leg flyer).

(note: pics below were not final - I've edited couple of thing)

for the time being go visit my site on http://www.hobikitkertas.com you can find few warcraft III models overthere. Well the impulses will be there too.

Would appreciate for any comments and critism

I'll answer any question asked :thumb:

Its boiling!
I can't wait to have it done. But first I'm gonna made a prototype paper build (already started with the torso). My beta-builder friend will also make one. Instruction and parts designation is not finished. I took a one day leave this monday to speed all things up. Office work took my time too much (but they pay me the most :p)

Wow, that looks fantastic! What software are you using?

I saw your request for reference material over in Skip's Gundam thread, so I was surprised at your progress. I was going to say the instructions for the MG kit have small blueprints but they are pretty small online. Here's the review of the MG kit: http://www.dalong.net/review/mg/m109/m109_i.htm
Click on the review link at the top for a gazillion color pictures of the model.

Here are more pics of the completed kit: http://f7.aaa.livedoor.jp/~mesarion/gallery/imp/imp.htm

Looking forward to seeing more soon!

Hi All ,
I must update you with some pic... I use snap button for several rotary joint, other than that I also tried to use straws, bendable straws as joints.. I'm not yet satisfied with the result.... but identified great area for improvement. Will include this on my final instruction.

Cheers!
