    wow, so many responses...

Thanks to all that showed support to the proposal I made and to sir Trent's excellent work!!!

sir trent, I've finished compiling the walkaround of the airplane, I'll proceed next to the scans... I'll send them bit by bit within the next 4 days...

Meanwhile, the 350 that my father is flying finally got out of maintenance, and its already in the hangar, hopefully I can conduct a second, more detailed walkaround for you sir...

    thanks again!!!

yea all the input has been great!!

ryan that was an interesting thread you posted. ive been hearing rumbling for years about airplane manufacturers going after the scale model market for a cut. it is indeed a sad thing.

FYI, I say we continue to operate as we have been within the cardmodel community. Honestly, they probably couldn't do too much to someone with some paper...
Certainly folks that design from overseas have less to worry about than those in the US, but I still think prudence is advisable.
BTW, if anyone needs information on Warbirds - that is one of the best places to go for information.

i warned you my plans were subject to change. no interior and 1/72 scale. im gonna have enough headaches without worring about that. i did however learn some new stuff that should help me with textures.

Sir Trent, here's some more info, regarding the walkaround I e-mailed you...

You may have noticed that the small fin below the tail assembly appears to be different compared to the 3-view drawing, that's because that fin was modified, they replaced the single fin with two...

its called the Dual Aft Body Strake, it improves the airplane's yaw handling and gives additional stability. Many king Airs flying today are already equipped with it, although there are many out there that don't have them...

its a simple mod actually, they just removed the original fin and screwed the two, carbon fiber reinforced plastic fins on...

The 350 my father's flying right now doesn't have those 2 fins, it only has the standard fin depicted in the 3-view drawing. However, the first 350 my dad flew (the one in the images) has them...

you can add these two sir, depending on the paint scheme of the airplane :-D

    thanks again!!!

that was one of the first things i noticed from the pictures.:thumb: the pictures are great!! basically all i have left to do on the modeling is the exaust, wing tips, and how to make the gear easy to do in paper. and the tires need to be paper freindly. oh and some wing formers.

Sir, um, I have a comment on two things from the 3d renderings...

    1. the prop blades... I think they are too narrow...

    2. the engine cowlings... they are all right, except for the part above the wing, I think the curve is too steep (looking from the side I mean)...

anyway, this is just the 3d renderings, lots more will be improved... hehe!!!

but overall, one of the best 3d renderings of the airplane, even the one in Microsoft's Flight sims are no comparison... :thumb:

Oh yeah!!! That's better, Actually its just right!!!

The winglets and the blade antenna's bottom side are a little too wide though, hence the overswept look to the front of the winglet and an underswept look on the rear side of the antenna (then again this is just the draft winglet and antenna), other than that it looks great!!! :thumb:
