Fine, I'm going to do the truck as a stock 32 Ford Truck, but plan on chopping the top on the car and making it into a hot rod.

This has really wandered off topic - might want to start a dedicated thread.... :)

OK, I'll use this thread for the continuing depression era homes and start another one of the build-ups, or PM Dave with updates. Where would be the proper place to discuss a set of styrene builds on a card modeling forum?

    Extended mediums.... :)

the off topic part is all the cars and whatnot. If you are doing buildups of homes and building here then they can stay of course :)

I think new threads for the builds is still a good idea. It just makes it hard(er) to find stuff when multiple topics get mixed in one thread.

I'm building some of these (Build Your Own Main Street) and ran into the "what side of the line do you cut on?" problem. On the first model I cut on the outside and didn't like the way the brick wall corners looked. I cut down the middle of the lines on the next one and am running into fit problems. So, if anyone else builds these be aware. Or if you have a solution I would appreciate hearing about it.

Which ones are you building and can you show any pictures? I just built the one so far, but will be glad to help in any way.
