Pet peeve- I've yet to find a book that makes DCC comprehensible
favorite moment of railroading- the first time an engine pulls a decently-long consist over new track and doesn't leave anything derailed.

Additional info? I started in O Gauge and ended up with these cute lil HO things...I now have about 45 pieces of rolling stock and 12 engines, mostly Logging type.

The detail got me hooked and I'm in HO to stay.

I still maintain my O Gauge layout, but haven't done much to finish it for the last 7 months.

I buy and sell on Ebay a lot as well as Hobby Shops locally and I am fortunate to live in an area that has several "Train Estate Auctions" every year.

I think 'History', for me, is one of the best parts of this hobby...I love researching the locos, rolling stock, lines, operating history, etc. of "my" rairoads. And of course, looking at old photos of my home town and state, and learning about railroads in other parts of the US and the world.
Thanks Woodie
