and the right one. almost looks like a flyer now.
Nice! Textures look awesome.
I made a mistake about the coloured orthos, they're of the captains yaught from Insurrection. I do have a coloured side view of the Argo though.
Also, another Trek ship I'd love to have is the T'Plana Hath, the landing ship from First Contact.
Actually there are many more but I' won't go on.
thanks skip, i went searching last night and turned up some pretty good stuff on the argo.
I have a few more here. I'll need to scan the Fact Files for ya if you still need orthos.
yea if you could i would like the orthos please. i also turned up some more ideas last night.the mind refuses to quit turning!
Be careful. You'll have an overload!
I don't have a scanner but my dad does. I'll be there in the next day or two so I'll take then with me and get them done for ya.
Nothing, I've had a good look around my books and the scan I put up of the Argo last night is the only one I have. Sorry.
I am going out to my local sci-fi collectors shop in about a bit, so I will have a look in there. I am sure they had a resin argo model in there, it was 'very' expensive though. I know they have the 'big' ship blueprints in there, so they may have the shuttles as well.
what i really need now is reference to make good textures.
got half the back fuselage together.
most of my other projects usually end up as crap but im real pleased with how this one is turning out!!
great build look nice and SIMPLE lol and all the other model ideas sound great
If it could be useful I have this image from an italian rpg.
Also it would be wonderful, but maybe too difficult, to create a lowering ramp and a scaled model of the buggy to put inside the cargo bay of the argo shuttle, like Rukr's dropship and apc from aliens.
just dreaming ghgh
Well, I'm back from the sci-fi store and I affraid they have nothing in there that would help in making a paper model of the Argos.
I was a bit annoyed with the shop owner, he asked why I wanted information on the argos. So I told him that some guys were designing a card model on the internet and he said ''what'' and just laughed. At first I was going to walk out of the shop, but I spend a lot of time and money in the shop. So I asked if I could show him this forum on their shop computer. He was like a kid in sweet shop, he was amazed.
And, he is a new series BSG fan, he loved the new ships.
Idiot! LOL Some people are so small minded sometimes about things they know nothing about. I was the same when I first found a link that lead me to this hobby.
Glad he's a convert or I'd have had to send the boys 'round! LOL
its ok paulhbell, i think ive got enough to go on now but thanks for looking!
got most of the main body done.i think the tail was the hardest part.
Really nice! I like this one.
Very well done nothing!
I was looking often for days on the net and the hand colored paper model you mentioned was the only one available. I hardly can wait you release this model so that I can build it.
well you shouldnt have long to wait. just a few more peices to test.im hoping to be done by this weekend.
Keep on the good work (for us all).
almost there..2 more parts, some form of instructions and we'll be ready!
Woohoo!! Hang on a minute. Those markings aren't on the other pics. Is this a different build pic? It's looking very nice by the way.
