I am currently saving up to get a Digitraz Zephyr set and some DH163AT decoders for my Locomotives.
I am also seriously considering equipping my Cabeese with one of Digitrax's TF2 function decoders to control interior lights and a red EOT light perhaps. This would also allow me to later upgrade to a transponding system and be able to tell where the front and rear of my trains are on the layout to make sure that my trains have cleared areas completely even if i cant see them.
My question is where can I get some insulated 33" wheels for the Metal Kadee Trucks or if needed a different set of trucks that I can pput inusulated wheels into to make a set of wiper pickups to get the signal to the function decoder?
