how good is walthers or likelike, (witch is the same people now) about taking back and replacing or fixing engines that are defective? got my 2 rock island today, on one the front truck is messed up. when you give it power the rear set of wheels on the front truck rares up off the track. then derails at any curve or switch. its a N scale proto N gp38-2

Lifelike used to have a lifetime warranty (as long as you have not attempted a repair or other alteration) - I assume Walthers has continued this - call them !!!

Walthers has always been good to me.
I had bought a Cornerstone kit that had one wall short-shot(Not enough plastic).I sent the wall in question back to them and they sent me back a whole new kit!
But that was a few years ago....Ehen I did a lot of On-line ordering from them. Since all this identity theft going on, I do most my shopping now at my LHS.

Yes Walther's has been good to me for replacing stuff and anything else i need. never a problem
