The Danbury Railway Museum will be holding its annual Spring Railfair on May 1 snd 2, 2004. Something new has been added. A Railroad Rodeo. The following is from Ira Pollack, President of the DRM:

The May 1st Railroad Rodeo sponsored by Metro North will be an interesting event and a first for the DRM. Metro North will be presenting their many departments, all competing against each other. The winners of this competition will represent Metro North at the national Railroad Rodeo. This should be very interesting and should not be missed. May 2nd will also be something to look forward to. Our annual Model Train Show has grown and will hopefully turn into a new tradition for the Museum.

    Railroad Rodeo?

Is that where you ride around on an 0-4-0, roping and wrasslin' a cow/calf to the ground? I've heard there's also bull (of the woods) riding, hog trestling, branding (sorry, no UP allowed) and clowns hiding in 50 gal drums.

Sounds like fun, but shouldn't it be called a Railrodeo?

I guess the sponsor - Metro North - call call it anything they like. However, I like your name for the event better.
