Curved Turnouts Code 100

I'm considering using one or two large radius curved turnouts on my under construction layout. It now a big layout put I would like to have my twin 0-8-0 lash-up move around the curves easily.


Any experience that might help with this idea would be appreciated.

Ben:
I have Peco curved turnouts on my layout. I'm not sure exactly what the radii are but the look like 36" and 60" (compared to my Tracksetta gauges). Is that big enough?

I have several various sized curved turnouts for the last 1 1/2 year on my HO layout. They are problems for only one of my loco's, an old Akane brass 2-8-8-4, and only on occasion. None of my other steamers (including LL P2K 2-8-8-2 and an IHC 2-8-2) have problems.
Take time on the install, and make sure they are well thrown. (I use either ground throws or Tortoise).
