For the CTI users out there, can you have a toggle switch at a local panel and have remote CTI Panel operation as well?

I've been searching around and haven't really gotten a clear answer yet. Hoping to find info from someone who actually implemented it.

I sent a message to CTI yahoo group, but it's still "pending".

Considering using CTI again for turnout/signal control over straight DCC possibly for cost effectiveness (ie: 1 Yardmaster can control 16 tortoise).

Thanks,
Shaun

It's a pretty cool system. I used it somewhat on previous layouts and got to thinking about using it again.

It has it pros and cons of course. To me, the pro is that is on average cheaper than implementing DCC componenents for running turnouts and signals. The con however it that you have to practically program code to run *everything* (how turnouts are activated, all the signal logic, etc..).

I'm a computer geek so I don't mind it. Kinda fun to take a bunch of code and have it actually operate stuff on the layout.
