That sounds cool, I'm wish I had used a paint mapping tool with my Revised Fury model. I mapped it the hard wayI made a base texture, Set UV coordinates, Then slowly modified the map one texture at a time until I had the desired result. Sounds simple enough . . . . . yeah right! It was a nightmare! All of the techniques I know for setting a texture does not work in Pepakura 2. Anyhow this is what I have come up with http://forum.zealot.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=72082&stc=1&d=1216586800 This is the engine cowling for the Black Swans J2 Fury. The reason it was so difficult to make a flat texture is that the model is round. since I can't use the normal warping tools I have to manually stretch and warp the texture to flow around the curves. If you want an example take a look at some of the textures that are used for someones face. http://www.toulouse.ca/MyHead/TDM_Face.jpg [This is not me, found it on the web] Its good to know that there is a freeware tool that can do all that for you.
