    Hey everybody,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a program that converted .3DS files into .PDO files. I've found some neat (and free) computer models of star wars expanded universe vehicles, and would like to build them. The models are simple in desgin, and should make the poly count for pepakura.

    Cheers,

    Ryan

Can you post the site with the cgi models, or is it private/limited access?

    How do you attach files?

    Hehehehe, I'm an idiot

I have no idea how to upload files to this thingy, so if someone could help this cat out, it would be great. The models are free access, so I'll put them up here, with credit for the creator, because he did a good job; might even be nice to send him an email to let him what we're trying to do with his fantastic creations!

the very best of luck to you!

I hope you have more success at this than I did...I tried converting 3D models of the Battlestar Galactica into Pepakura and had absolutely no luck at all. The one model that I did get to open had too high of a polygon count, and came out looking like iron filings on a magnet....kinda strange.....looking forward to seeing your end results.
