Ich möchte eine eine Wilmar Figur für Buck Rogers Starfighter haben.
Damit jeder weiß was ich möchte hier das Ziel....

Der Ausgangshelm war ein 1970 Hell von Bell.der kostet mittlerweile bei EBay 400€.
Darum habe ich mir eine Alternative gesucht.
Und zwar diesen....

Nun ging es ans Modelieren der Spitze und anderer Kleinigkeiten....

Nach dem Aushärten der Modeliermasse ging es ans schleifen.
After dismantling modeling clay, it was time to grind.

Nach dem säubern konnte ich einen ersten Gesamteindruck gewinnen.
Auch habe ich die spätere Höhe des roten Ringes bestimmt.

Hier wollte ich einmal von kleinen Schwierigkeiten bei der Entwicklung des Kammes berichten

Hier bekommt das Wort "Stellprobe" eine ganz nreue Bedeutung.

1. Bau des Helmes 1:1 ggw. zu verfolgen
2. Bau des Lasers 1:1

Davor stand das Finden und Bekommen der Armpatch, des Brustwings

3. Bau des Taliengürtels mit Schnalle und Waffenholsters 1:1
4. Bau des Armsensors 1:1

5. Finden der passenden Schuhe 1:1

Abnehmen auf die 80 er Jahre Maß e....!!! sehr schwierig

Dann scannen auf 1:10 ausdrucken und anschließend eine Kopie drucken in 1/32.....


es gibt also einiges zu tuen.

Really enjoying this. I remember telling my girlfriend I could not go out because Wilma Derring was on Buck Rogers. She had to wait for the show to end. A teenager had to have his priorities.

Dem Helm fehlten noch die Seitenteile
Dazu habe ich mir den Computerausdruck genommen, und Stück für Stückauf den Helm geklebt.
Ich hoffe diese Idee bewährt sich.
The helmet still lacked the side panels
For that I took the computer print out and glued it to the helmet bit by bit.
I hope this idea is successful.

Die Pappe wurde, von mir, auf Balsaholz geklebt
The cardboard was glued on balsa wood by me

Es wird Zeit den Ständer auszuprobieren. Dieser ist aus Edelstahl und wurde nach meinen Wünschen von meinem Mann angefertig.
