Computer Generated HO Guard Rails

I need some guard rails for my overpass but the LHS didn't have any I liked. So being the tight wad I am I'm going to build them from a computer and a white paperclip. I yanked out a ribbon cable and cut it in strips two wires wide.

I then cut posts from a white paperclip and glued them on with CA jel.

I then drilled holes and glued in the guard rail. Maybe later I'll weather them. Total time, two guard rails... 20 min.

The new ATA 100/133 IDE cables are 1/2 the size of what I used and should work for N if your not a rivet counter. Posts from smaller wire. I finally found a good use for a computer...DASH:)
