Iam trying to get my car waxed today. I think the paint is dead. I am giving it 3 coats of Maguires.

Of the several polishes I have used Maguires seem best.

It still wont get out the blemishes in the clear coat.

I hate clear coat paint jobs.

In the old days turtle wax cleaned and poliched. It removed oxidized paint then polished it.

Great donuts BUT NO COFFEE?? Hmmm. Well its a great cool day here in Tn.
Looks Like I'll be firing a Contractor, Wish I could find one that was reliable. This guy keeps telling us next week and that was over a month ago..
Might have to go let some steam off maybe go railfanning.

WE are surrounded by strip malls here large and small.

In one very small shopping center is a greatest little coffee shop on the order of starbucks.

I would spend more time there than I do if I could smoke my pipe there.

Since I went on the wagon it is a nice place to hang but seems only woman are in it all the day long. It is a block away from the hobby shop.

This is about the middle of the month so I can say I have not had a drink in one year this week.

I just got a couple of donuts today I just gave my 50 th blood donation today, feels kinda good to be helping others.

Raining today and I havent polished the car doors yet.

I am giving her 3 coats all over.

I also polish the windows and lamps. That helps keep them clean when it rains.

My other hobby, old cars....

I am presntly looking for a Jeep Wagoneer to restore and out fit for surf fishing.




This old bucket of bolts look pretty goor for 15 years on the road.

It is all new from the tires up.

We are home for the weekend as the last two days we were back in Grand Rapids. Found an other hobby shop up there, but they were closed when we went by. I will catch them the next time I am up there in two weeks.

Well its the end of another Sat here in Tn the storms where pretty ungly last night tornado hit, didnt damage the house to bad but took down an oak tree thatsbeen in my yard since about the civil war. dam shame, at least I'll have fire wood for the next few winters.

Today is the OTTS picnic at one of our local parks that also has several miles of 7 1/2" track that runs thru the wooks. Today the live steamers will be running.
