Hey, do you mind if a guy from Mexico comes in and warms you up a little? The weather well you don't even want to know what it is here 65 deg. mornings and 75 to 80 by afternoon would make you all sick and then with a little breeze on top of that just to keep you cool. So I won't tell about the weather I'm trying to make new friends, can't if I brag, no one likes those kind. I live about 45 miles from the City of Guadalajara in an American and Canadian community there are around 30,000 of us down here. Won't be long before there are more of us then Mexican's in this area. We all live around Mexico's largest lake called Chapala and I live in the city of the same name. I'm glad I came in so you would know a little about me. Oh, I'm from San Jose California and I've been living in Mexico for almost 4 years now and my wife and I love it here.

Well, hope to see you in and around in the forum.

Hey spankybird,

I can see you don't know to much about Mexico. The weather here in my area will be the same in July as it is now. The only difference is it rains in July and summer is really the best part about living in the Guadalajara Area. The temps. at that time are 75 in the shade not bad. See you around.

Gil - thanks, but Mexico is right, I don't know much about them. I always thought it would be hot like the rest of the south.

Train Show to day at Valley Forge HS, Parma, Ohio.

We should complete the control panel today at the museum and with wiring of the switches.

spankybird,

The reason it's nice year around is that Guadalajara is a mile high City just like Denver is.
Denver is cold in the winter because it's up north. We have a year around temp. of about 72 or so. If you go to the coast here in Mexico that's where it's hot. I don't want you feeling sorry for me this summer and losing sleep. haha

Buckeye - I don't think Chief made bail, not that anyone would want to keep him. :eek:ops: You notice that his wife keeps sending him out of town, don't you sign1

OTTS update, The tin plate layout is able to run trains. The track and switch wiring is complete and so is the control panel. Now for the landscaping.

We have an interview today, so got to run.

Chief, your schedule sounds a lot like mine did back in the late 80's and early 90's. Home long enough to get clean laundry, money, tickets, hug the wife and kids and catch the next plane. Usually checked my office when I got home to see what tickets and itenerary my secretary left on my desk. (Predates electronic tickets.)

Roy - the interview was with a headhunter, and it went fine. Now he has to match me up with some of his clients. I feel like its a dating severice.

Chief - aren't you glade that you are retiered !
