Good Morning All from NE Ohio

where the temp is 45 and heading to 60 deg with
Blue Clear Sky's

It should be a good day to put up our outside Christmas lights. Better to do it in the nice weather than in cold and snow.

I have also noticed that the CTT forum is slow from time to time. They may need to rebot thier server.

We used FlexStone on this small layout for the roads and parking lots. Boy did it come out nice

Cold front is on its way with rain and cooler temlp, may see Snow by mid week.

We spent most of yesterday working on our outside Christmas light. I thought I would be hanging them, but spent much more time replacing broken and burnt out blubs. Last winter was very hard on the lights

Gill - I believe they were all working when I turned them off in January. :thumb: :D

But I didn't take them down until end of Feb when the weather broke and it was all the snow in Jan and Feb that did them in. :curse:

I am not one to go out in '0' deg weather to take them down. It can wait until it breaks. :thumb:

You live closer to the state line than you would have us believe.

Only hillbillies leave thier lights up all year, have living room funiture on the porch and a refirgerator behind the houes as a "paint shed".

I got a neat toy ambulance from ebay this week end.

It is a Xmas gift for my brother the paramedic.

Also got two Marx tin diesels, twin Sou-pac Alcos or something. Silly me...I didnt think that I would have two nonpowered units when I read "B" on the page, not until had I already bid on them.

I will get a powerd one and put the odd one up for bid again or something. I could have had a clean boed set today on ebay for $65 but let it go. Cash is tight now and I have the christmas shopping ahead of me.

Gil - it wasn't all year, just till spring

Nice old car. Your bother should like it.

What you have is a "non powered 'A' unit". The 'B' unit is flat face and went between two 'A' units.

This ia an 'A' 'B' 'A' set up. only the first 'A' unit is powered.

Wel, you are right of course. A-B-???

Yep. Bubba will like it, he has quite a collection of EMT/FD choctskis.(spelling)?

Not as nany as you do with your carcollection but his parlor is shelved well with those and related aniques.

He has a brick wall and a wood stove and it all blends well with his big nozles and fire helmits, brass extinguser and all like that.

Hey, I resemble that remark. I just don't have living room funiture on the porch.

We joke with our nieghbors that we are hillbillies from western Pa.

When I was puting up my Christmas lights my neighbor was watching me. I told her that I had to catch up with my neighbor becuase they had their icecly lights on the porch. You guessed it. She never took them down from last year :eek:ops:

Well we finished the outsdie lights for this year. Only have to set the timers. :thumb: And it was all done in good weather, as we are predicted to have snow by Thursday.

Our Homeland Security thought for today.

Two Iraqi spies met in a busy restaurant after they had successfully
slipped into the
U.S.

The first spy starts speaking in Arabic. The second spy shushes him
quickly and whispers:

"Don't blow our cover. You're in
America now. Speak Spanish."

Se! Good morning gang. Warm here. Will turn cooler by Thursday. Got to get the snow machine going for all of my Snowhio "friends". Off to meeting with City of Raleigh Mayor. Hope to get by Todd's Train Depot and see Miss Edna. Been several weeks due to travels. Have a good one and God bless.
