Right on, Chief! I heard him tell it in a live appearance in 1967.

Spring was here and left. Winter pushed it out over these past 2 weeks. Been getting dumped with snow since yesterday and it doesn't look like it is going to stop until sometime tomorrow. Be nice if summer got here already.

Morning. NGauger, the forum software is flying this AM. Maybe not so many signed on and sitting out there holding up the server space. :thumb: Warmer. Not as windy. Think I will disk the garden again and make the beds for planting. Got plants too leggy in greenhouse. Have a good one.

Well here is one of the main reason I haven't been around that much. Some of you know that I have gotten another niece. Been spending alot of time with her over the past couple of months. Other than that, the weather here is cold. Got hit with a snow storm sunday night into last night. The higher parts of the mountains got it worse than us here in the valley. Other than that it has been pretty good.

Planted corn yesterday. Tomatoes [some plants are 4 foot tall and some 1 foot tall], squash, zucchini and cucumbers. Onions and lettuce are already up and growing.

Sounds like a great salad, we just had a late frost in Missouri so I'm just now thinking of planting. I guess having a green house is an advantage.:thumb:

Dayle had me out in the yard doing cleanup yesterday and today. Garbage day this morning, so half of it went. 3 big blue spruces and they drop cones like mad.
Chief: I read your line as "Disliked it again yesterday"!

    Good Afternoon All!
Not much to report from the land of Buckeyes on this cool sunny morning.
I just return from my morning walk and while taking my "rest" at the T&OC station I saw 3 NS trains and one W&LE I only took 2 pictures.
Well some things never die..There is 2 guys trying to start a Proto87 club..This makes the third or fourth try and I wish them luck again even tho' I suspect it will fail---again.Gotta admire their spirit though.
Well I shall have a cup and look over the forum.
Have a good day all! :thumb:

I am so jealous of you gardeners, our yard is big but there are lots of moles, grubs, rabbits, squirrels, mice, cats.We even have a few turtles roaming around. It's a real menagerie, but not flat enough for a real garden. I keep a bird feeder stocked so we have plenty of birds. We could have our own baseball team with all the cardinals and blue jays.:D
