I actually gathered some reference lastnight for it. ;) I like the Lawmasters too.

I don't think Bat cowl would work would it? Too stiff to be pulled down over your head to have it fit right??

Sorry Guys for starting a thread hijack.

I'll start a thread as and when I start the Dredd Helmet.

You could include a generic face and make it a bust.

    Batman Paper Mask

Theres a paper mask book that I bought off of Amazon for less than $5.00, original publishers price $25.00. "DC Comics Masks: Nine Masks of DC Comics Heroes and Villains to Assemble and Wear". I know that theres a Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Flash. I think the rest are Catwoman, Two Face, Darkseid, Joker, Doomsday. Its already diecut to punchout and build.

Looking great! Anybody on to getting a Blaster done to go with it?. The pair would be nice, for display of course and certainly not for wearing and shooting Cylons while watching TOSBG ..Perish the thought.

I used a paper punch and hot glue gun the top bar has 30 led's
the bottom has 30 led's the bars ar filled with the hot glue to hold the led's and the glue works as a light bar. Each pack of 15 led's was $4 US
they were ment for lighting a Christmas wreath with two settings flash and steady on.

I was watching the scifi channel and saw a little difference in the helmet to the one we built.

True, Red, but those pics are from the (forgive me, sci-fi gods, for mentioning the unmentionable) Galactica 1980 show. peasoup

Between the original series and 1980, the helmets underwent minor and major changes. The one I modeled is from the original Galactica, and is as accurate to that as I could make it off of the reference pics. Admittedly, I could only find pics of the front and sides of the helmet.

Part of the problem with recreating Galactica props is that there were so many variants built over the course of the show. This is a problem that Bazookajo and I have repeatedly run into while working on the Cylon Armor suit. In the Cylon helmet alone, there are at least two main variants, the "Hero" and "Background" helmets. The grille on the front of the "Hero" helmet is much sharper and is in fact a different shape than on the "Background" helmets. wall1

If anyone out there can dig up some TOS pics showing the BACK of the helm, I'll be happy to modify. :thumb:
