Code 80 Atlas Track

When using flex track you end up with gaps (without ties) between your pieces of track.

Should you super-glue of model glue ties underneath to fill the gaps.
Which glue would be preferable.

I can't say enough how helpful everyone has been, thank you.

I usually cut the tie plates off and glue them under with carpenters glue. Between a light smear of glue and ballasting they stay in place real well.

My solution to that is to cut the track at the angle where the shortest piece fits the next track without a gap. In other words, pin the track down where it belongs with enough overhang so that the north rails meet, then cut the piece at the angle it meets the next piece. If you cut the track when it's straight, it will always have gaps when you bend it.
