I stopped by the Children's Department of the North York Central Library.
Toronto Public Library, Toronto Ontario Canada.

Took some pictures of the display that I set up with the help of Val (Spitfire) and Chris (Interurben).

    Here's five pictures....

Don't mind all the smudges. Apparently they are having a hard time keeping the glass clean...

    Another five pictures...

Turns out that there wasn't enough space to fit Chris' diarama, so I had to lay it on its side.

    And the final four...

Don't worry Val, the smudge is on the glass, not on the CN hand-book.

Photocopied and blew up the yard diagram and laid it in the bottom of the display case. Very cool document...

    I'm not positive...

I got it from an "Uncle" friend of the family, just before he died. I didn't unpack it until it was too late to ask.

So, I think that it is a kitbashed Canadian National 9000/9001 or it might be something european....

Ron I noticed one of your pics has a small CN book can you tell me what that is. It would be the 9th picture on this page.

    Thanks

    That's Val's

Spitfire supplied that. It's a Trainman's hand-book. I'll let her fill you in on the rest.
