I've always wanted to see actual "labor" spacecraft one day - sort of like a litmus test of how far we've gone with space travel, and Switzerland's "Cleanspace One" certainly caught my eye. a 30x10x10 cm microsatellite, Cleanspace One is designed to be a technology demonstrator of EFPL's janitorial spacecraft, its mission being the retrieval and de-orbiting of one of two of Switzerland's first satellites.

The parts are pretty much done, and I plan to do the testbuild tomorrow if I don't get back from work so late.

That's really cool. I think there should be big craft, crewed, doing this. Some of these agencies say there is o real defined mission. Cleaning all the cr@p floating around in orbit would be a good start.

Great subject!! :)

30 x 10 x 10 cm? Seems you could pack dozens into one Arienes rocket and task each separately, creating a man made meteor shower of space junk!!
