I seen that site before..Sounds like a bunch of railroaders wanna bes..If they hate the work that bad why not quit? I don't believe the CSX management has a gun to their heads making them stay.
Real railroading has never been for the weak of heart or for those that want a 9-5 job and off on weekends and holidays.

The money and benefits is good but at a price.That price is being away from home a lot and missing birthdays,anniversaries,some holidays and other such things and you get very little sleep between runs.
The danger is real..One foolish mistake could cost a limb or your life.Safety is always first..But its up the individual to insure his own safety and that of his follow crew members just like any other job...
Yes,railroading is not for everybody.
