I've searched myself and even asked a few designerss but sadly despite being an important tank I've yet to have any luck, sorry.

I too find it odd this tank has not been modeled. Maybe I need to consider this. Tank models scare me because those who know them know them so well, I know I could never get it right, maybe close, but not "right".

Anyone know of some really good three way drawings, or free CAD models? :)

Strange as it's a widely used tank... from korea to the 80's
I'cant even find a b&w model of it. I've found an m60 but not a centurion.

thank you for the replies.

One can always start here:
http://www.the-blueprints.com/
and continue through here:
http://www.primeportal.net/the_battlefield_armor.htm
and see where that ends...
Not me, though, I am kind of lost between the many versions available... ;)

That's one of the problems, too many versions, the blueprints on the Blueprints website is a "generous" use of the word. They are just line drawings and I have found them to be remarkably wrong on some occasions. I have thought about making a 1973 MG Midget (I own one) and mine looks nothing like the line drawings.

There looks to be 7 billion variants (O.K. 12 maybe?) of the Centurion, and that is a big project to take on. It is odd that there isn't one model of any version available though. It would be nice to find a really good three way technical illustration of one, but that is usually hard to come by. Maybe someone would take it up. It might be good to post any pictorial references, in case someone, on a whim, sees the data and just bangs one out.

Thanks for the link but I think that modelling from scratch is too difficult for my skills.

I can only hope someone takes the challange! :)
