I've expressed my admiration of this project before but I can't see enough of this excellent cement plant. Thanks for keeping us up tpo date. I'm having cement envy! :)

I haven't visited The Gauge for some time, so I have a lot of catching up to do. I have been working more on other parts of the layout than on the cement plant itself for quite some time now, so I don't think there are really any updates to do there. However, on the corner module that is home to the material pit for the cement plant I have made improvements. I call it the "Toxic Siding Module" on the Oregon Western Lines. The toxic material processing plant at Toxic is located just below the limestone pit that supplies the cement plant.

I covertly took a picture from the hillside across from the plant. You can see workers in their hazardous material suits working on the dock and you can see the hazardous material railroad cars on the siding. After dark, you can actually see the cars glowing! In the distance on the right side of the picture you can see the road leading to the cement plant.

The second picture is an aerial shot of the pit with Toxic below it to the left.
