I would love to see some one do the KC-135A and R model tanker. I have yet to see one and I could see some of the displays with Jets, Bombers and Cargo. But I have been asking for this for over a year.

ok seriously i think that if the C-119 is made, an AC-119 Stinger/Shadow HAS to be made. i love that plane, more than the AC-130 or even the Spooky!

    Howdy Farsight,

YES! I had forgotten all about the gunship version of this plane. I agree, I like this better than the cargo/transport version.

    Have a good day,

aparently if you read up on the Stingers, they were very good machines. some survived landing on one engine and missing over 14ft of one wing! also with 4x7.62 miniguns, they were pretty devastating, but with the 2x20mm miniguns, they did prove some tank kills!

    gotta love em!

EDIT: out of interest, did the vietnamese use any choppers?

    KushanFarsight.........

    I'm assuming you mean NVAF............yes!

They used the big Mil helicopters to move MiG 17s from airfields that were going to be attacked.

In NVAF markings............I would guess no.

But I'll check my books again to make sure of the model number and maybe you can find one and re-color and mark it.

I remember the reference, but I don't think it had a picture so you just might be on your own as far as markings.

I believe the North Vietnamese Air Force operated Mil Mi-6 heavy lift helicopters.

Antonov An 124 and Antonov 225.
And, of course, Antonov An 22, one of the most beautiful aircrafts ever built.

    Great wish list, isn't it?

But some of them are already available:
The Russian AN-22 (1:100) and the Lockheed P2V-7 Neptune (1:50) are available from CFM-Verlag (http://www.cfm-verlag.com)

Take a look at them, I've built both models and they look really fine.

    Hope this helps
