    Hey, Folks,
I've been out of the net for a few days with school starting and all, but has CardFAQ.org gone off the net?

It seems like a virus around.
    First cardmodels.net... then this.

    Wayback archive for card FAQ

Try the "Wayback Machine" Internet archive: http://www.archive.org/index.php

Enter the URL (www.cardfaq.org) and select an appropriate date range.
The page should be available - as of the selected date. Links that have expired since that time obviously will not work.

    Good luck!
I hope Card FAQ ( or something like it...) will be online again in the future!

I have to wonder if Steve Brown hasn't decided to turn it into a book or something. He seems to be actively preventing any access to the information. This is what Way Back says:

"We're sorry, access to http://www.faq.org has been blocked by the site owner via robots.txt."

    Cheers --- Larry

At the Wayback enter www.cardfaq.org instead of http://faq.org - you'll find numerous results on the Wayback from May 01 - March 05. Nothing after that though.

No book is planned. Never was a robots.txt at cardfaq.org, either--you're confusing it with faq.org. cardfaq.org welcomes spiders.

The "backup" pages at http://personal.lig.bellsouth.net/n/8/n8hfi/card-faq/ are still up, and since cardfaq.org has had static content for some time, the wayback machine's copy is also fine.

Steve was at the convention last weekend but I didn't ask if he was going to renovate it.
