At the september train show here in Edmonton, a visiting club from Salmon Arm, B.C. brought their spectacular HO layout. One of the many, many superb features was a beautifully done car-float dock.

I'd like to present a collection of pictures, just in case anyone would like to use them as a reference.

    Firstly, here's a front view.

    Next...

    ...And a back view.

Depending, I suppose, on whether you're a train, or a boat.

    And Then...

Uh, oh. I have to put my kids (and likely me!) to bed. Sorry to bolt like this, but I will return ASAP and post some more pictures.

In the meantime, here is a nice overhead view.

I noticed in the title to the thread that you apologised for a lot of pictures. You can't post too many pictures! That model is beautiful. I can't wait to see the rest of the pics!

Seen their layout several times and just amazed at the workmanship and details that go into the whole layout. All the modules blend in together and it is just spectaular to watch the trains run. thanks for the pics..any others of the show as had to work that weekend and could not get there..Ron..

    Here Are More!

Okay...I'm back! Out for the day. Here is another of the pictures of the float dock. This one is a slightly different angle of the second (I think) picture.

    ...And...

Here is a closeup of the left tower. To get a decent size, I had to put it on its side. I hope that's okay.
