Does anyone know where to obtain realistic railway trackside signs such as yard/speed limits etc. At last years Ottawa Valley Associated Railroaders Rail show at Algonquin College there was a dealer selling great looking stuff but I can't locate his name.

    Thanks

Send Mason Jar a message. He is an OVAR member. He might be able to help you.

    Eric,

I am not sure who you mean, but luckily, RailFair is only about 6 weeks away...! ;)

    Mason Jar,

Yep your right about that. But six weeks before the show. Can I do it? Its not like I don't have a million other things to complete on the Algoma and Rideau! Wait it is.

    Thanks
    Eric

    Eric,

You might be able to get a quick solution (or partial solution) at Larkspur Line in Merrickville. I know that he has Canadian (CNR to be exact) crossbucks that say railWAY crossing - not railROAD.

Maybe that will tide you over... ;) :D

    The Roundhouse - Boreal Models

Well stripes on this forum sells many signs for Canadian railways, you can visit his site The Roundhouse his prices are good, you can tell him that I sent you. He always has very realistic scenery.

    lapuce,

I should have added that two great suppliers of Canadian signage i eventually found are Osborn model kits out of Angus Ont, and 'signalisation c&g' out of Quebec. Both have good products.

I can recommend the Osborne Model Kits signs, they're laser cut, and very good-looking, as are all his kits.
