Ya thanks
Well, I had to hold off on putting the crane on the inside, I ran outta time and the contest closed last nite at midnite and I made it in with like 20 mins to spare. I finished weathering at like 11:30 last nite and then snapped some quick pics and then posted the one I wanted for the contest.
As for the crane, I am still gonna put it in there, I have just been extremely busy with school and its finals week of my senior year lol.
Anyways, here are the weathered pics of the Kitbashed Rolling Mills
Front Left Corner
Front Center (this is the one I entered in the contest)
Front Right Corner
Right End of the Mill
Back Right Corner
Back Left Corner
Left End of the Mill
Sign Close-ups (these are on the four center columns on both ends of the Mill. They read Wear Hard Hat, Danger, Crane Operating Overhead, and Danger Hot Metal)
Close-up of the Signs on the Upper End Walls
hmm...your work looks oddly familiar. Great job as usual!
but what happened to the sign on the ends?
it looks like the decals ripped the edges.
Is that code 55 or 80?
Thanks Gary, Now I can say I know you from 2 Train Forums
Yeah, I had a bit of a problem with the decals hehehehe I am considering leaving the one sign that got ripped a little tho, it gives the building a lil character I think
Tha one on the other side got ripped off when I masked that area off when I did a touch up with the paint :curse: wall1 sign1 No worries, I have a replacement decal for that spot, just got to get around to slapping er on there
As for the code of the "raised rails" inside the mill, im not sure yet what code it is, I have all C55 track tho so I will have to make it work if it is C80, no big deal. Im not sure if walthers made them with C55 track in mind or C80, im assuming it is C55 but not entierly sure.
it does give it character...it looks cool with the ripped edges.....like a really strong wind got to it
Nice work Josh! Looks great!
Im pleased with it     Thanks again.
Thanks Railspike
This one will be listed on e-bay tho along with my blast furnace. My new plan calls for 3 mills kitbashed together and also 2 blast furnaces kitbashed together. Hopefully the money that I make off the rolling mill and blast furnace right now will be enough to cover most of the cost of buying 2 more blast furnaces and 3 more rolling mills
Gunna be sad to see them go but boy the next one is going to be even better and more amazing I think
That looks really huge! Nice job indeed.
Been quite a while since this thread was updated as well lol
as i posted in my Blast Furnace thread, the Rolling Mill, Blast Furnace, and Coke Oven & Quencher are up on e-bay RIGHT now. If your intrested, heres the link to my auctions thread on the gauge where you can click on the links to my auctions under my e-bay username bnsfmodeler123

ASHLAND BLOWER ENGINE in N scale
Is there an equivalent to this reference: (ASHLAND BLOWER ENGINE HOUSE HO Scale Structure Kit 933-2957) in N scale?
In the absence of N-scale model, can anyone give me the dimensions for the model build myself?
Thanks in advance.
