    Chapter 3, Hack # 4. Now the landing gear. In this case, the design has very simple tires... two circles with a strip. This meant trouble again. It is, as I mentioned, a very heavy plane, so the tires as designed, were not going to support the weight.

    So I managed to hack them too. First, laminate the tire diagram to 1mm cardboard, each circle, so we can have 2mm tires.

    And then cut each tire...

    And sand it to its round profile.

    Then paint it black with a marker.
