Totally agreed, and let me add that it's a great job!
These look great! Keep it up!
As promised, here is the QUAD cockpit.
Like the two seat version, the parts are very straight forward and easy to assemble.
Here are the photos for your viewing pleasure.
Here is the parts sheet.
Here are all four seats.
All four seats are finished (as you can see, the seat harnesses look a bit more realistic).
Here is then tub.

Fantastic as usual, man. GREAT WORK!
RB, That looks superb!
Can't wait for the rest! :excited1:
Here is an update on my progress.

The cockpit tub is attached (the side tabs on the vertical panels are trimmed as needed).
The rest of the top skin is built up.
The top skin is attached to the rest of the body.
(NOTE: fitting the tub in place is a bit trick and very tight.)
The front console will go on next after a few minor changes and revisions.
Please stay tuned to your local Earth directorate channels for further updates and they happen.
Fantastic work so far, I expect even more amazing to come! Way to go!
Great job RB, I always enjoy these Thunder Fighter builds. Looking forward to more. Thanks for sharing your tallents with us.
PROGRESS REPORT: Main Control Console
Here is the latest Update on this build.
I added three control panels to the Main Console as well as a few other minor changes.
Here is the front console.
As you can see, I added extra support around the extra consoles to add strength to the console as a whole (not only that, but It looks more like a true console and not just a flat piece of paper hanging there).
Here is the top of the console (I recessed the center part to make it look more canon).
The Front Main Console is now assembled.
The Main Console is in place.
The new parts for the Front Main Console have been sent to Revell-Fan for revision and to be added to the kit.
WOW! That console looks fantastic!
Quad is finished!!!
I have finished the QUAD build. I added the engines and canopy.
Here are the finished photos for your viewing pleasure.
I am going to now finish the two seat version now.
I will use UHU02's technique for the sliding canopy that he featured in his Viper build, for the two seat canopy.
Please stay tuned to your local Earth Directorate Broadcasting channels for further updates as they happen.
Thank you for watching.
I can see that thing cruising the skies of New Chicago now. Awesome job!:thumb:
I have to get me some time to build that model with those modifications. It's beautiful! CONGRATULATIONS!
This project really blows me away! You guys have done so much work on these mods that I think it is very unique in all scale modeling. Once again I got bitten by the Starfighter bug, and just finished another one, the standard two seater. I'll try to post some pics later today. Thanks for all of this and the inspiration as well!!
With how your build skills are improving, I think that you would do this model some serious justice.
Now, you have two main options.
Option #1, You can build one of them now with one of the current cockpit interiors, or you can wait until RF and I release the 2.0 cockpit interiors and build it then.
Either way you go, I am really looking forward to seeing how you will build it and what kind of detail you will add to it.
I wish you the best of luck with the build!!!
I am glad to hear that you were bitten by the Starfighter bug!!!
Without going into too much detail, there is more coming for this project as a whole. So keep watching for more.
By all means, please post photos of your build!!! I am GREATLY looking forward to seeing what all you have done with it!!!
This goes for everyone that reads this thread: When you are making any of the different Starfighters (Thunder Fighters), you are more then welcome to use this thread (or any of my other threads) as reference for your own builds.
Please post a build thread. I would GREATLY APPRECIATE seeing what all you do with adding extra greebles to this model.
Thank you everyone for the kind words of encouragement!!!
I GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!!

Okay... I just squealed like a school girl and wet myself again. Your cockpit up grades look so flippin' cool Rhaven. I'm very excited to see what the future holds for these Thunderfighters.
I have to say a giant THANK YOU...when I say Giant... i mean about the size of Will Ferrell as Paul Bunyan in the SNL spoof commercial for feminine products....THAT GIANT of a thank you to Martin for designing the original Models in the first place, even standing alone as spectacular builds, without all these awesome modifications.
