For all of you "BUCKAHOLICS" (me included) out there, here is a wonderful little surprise from Revell-fan.
It is the Blaster MK-II from "Buck Roger in the 25th Century".
I am doing the beta build and evaluation for Revell-fan. Once I have finished, I will send everything to Revell-fan for final correction and then release.

I started on the mussel and the barrel.
Here are the photos of it.

I am now starting on the main body of the blaster.
There are options to make this blaster completely canon or change out a few parts.

These are the side panels of the main body.
IMAG0063.jpg

Here I have laminated a few of the parts. The black circles are optional parts that I chose to add. I like the detail of the parts.

IMAG0066.jpg

Here is that part in place.
IMAG0067.jpg

I had to round off the corners of these parts to make them fit right.

This build is very straight forward. So far, I have not run into any problems (knock on wood).

More to come soon.

This is great. I can't wait. First the Colonial Blaster and now this. I've got to start building a sci fi weapons collection to go on the wall in my art studio. Now if someone will just design Uncle Martin's space ship from My Favorite Martian. Just in case they don't I just bought a plastic model of it. I agree with "trt" The More Buck the better.

More photos

Here are more photos.

I had to add a few glue tabs to parts 18, 19, 22, & 23 so that they would attach to part 21 properly.

:thumb::thumb::thumb: BEAUTIFUL!!! :thumb::thumb::thumb:

Just as designed. It's good to share the work with someone else; four eyes see more than two and your insight and tips are more then welcome. They really help improve the kit. Thank you, buddy! :thumb:

And to all Buckaholics out there: This is Blaster Mk. II. It was introduced in season one but became the main gun of Hawk later in the series. So I named it the "Hawk's blaster". Blaster Mk. I is also ready for testing and will become "Buck's blaster" (who would have thought that ). Then we have the gun Buck has drawn on the movie poster (look at the DVD box cover art). This one is in the works and will be ready ... maybe next week I suppose. We'll release every model (the more Buck..! ), but only under the condition that you promise not to shoot anybody! (And not to rob your local bank with it!) sign1 CU!

Fond kiddie memories of Wilma fill my mind. Excellent build.
Don't want to ruin your memories, but did you know that Erin Grey was married even before shootig the series began? (And no, Gil was NOT her husband !) ... OK, Erin was... but Wilma? ... I don't think so.... Huh, fond memories indeed...!

There are three former's that I forgot to take photos of and show the placement.
They run horizontally across the handle (one near the bottom, one in the middle and one near the top).

This part is #11 (I call it a saddle). There are two optional parts. This one and a "half saddle". I chose this one because I like the balanced look that it gives to the blaster.

I just streamed this movie on Netflix last month with my kids.....and i forgot how extremely campy and cheap on the special effects this movie is. But, Erin was in her prime. She still looks great today. Rhaven, great progress.

I have sent everything to Revell-fan for approval and release.
I am going to start on the other BRTC25 Blaster now.

Once it is released, I look forward to seeing some of you HARDCORE (and less then hardcore) "BUCKAHOLICS" make these wonderful weapons, and post a bunch of photos of your work.

ENJOY!!!
