With the start of training camp for the NFL, Bubba felt it necessary that he get in on the tailgating action found outside stadiums in the fall. He started with a Matchbox 50 States Series Wyoming Winnabego. Stripping the paint off with several hundred gallons of Pine-Sol, he pondered his next moves...

Deciding to try freelancing, he removed the cast on ladder and replaced it with one cut from ladder stock.

He also filed off all parting lines and sanded all the imperfections down in prepping for the paint shop.

Liking what he saw on Nawthern "Snowbird's" RVs, Bubba mounted stainless rims on his, carefully modifying the frame to fit. The fronts came from a 1/64 Johnny Lightning vehicle, the rear from a Racing Champions 1/87 truck model.

His hands not being as steady as they used to be, Bubba painted a subtle but sharp striped scheme on his new rig. Coming home late his first time out, he finds his faithful wife had set it up, got the burgers on AND was waiting for him at the door with a frosty one in her hand. Ain't life grand...
