Brand compatibility?

I currently have a Marklin layout, and recently recieved some Locos from my fathers estate but do not have transformers & track for them. They are Lima, Roco, Piko, Jouef, Tri-Ang Wrenn, Tri-Ang Hornby, & Hornby-AcHO. Will any run on Marklin systems, which will run on the others track? Do any conversions need to be made? What are they. I Do I need to buy trans. & track for each make?
I also will need a source for the required stuff.

Lima trains

I run a Marklin c track, with a Lima TGV. However I think that there were Lima trains in the shop for other track systems.

So I guess it depends on what it was built for, rather than who built the loco. Sorry.
