Brake cleaner on engine?

    Can I use brake cleaner on my engine or would it ruin it? How bout my carb?

    Just dont get it on any painted surface itll take it right off. Try carb. cleaner on your motor instead just keep it from getting in your engine.

    I've always used brake cleaner (non-chlorinated) just spray down with wd-40 afterwards so that the rubber parts don't dry out.

    Speaking of WD 40 just use that, It alone works great
