boost bottle?

    Ok im again confused. There seems to be lots of controversies on the subject of boost bottles. What are they? Nos of RC? No, but they somehow make a nitro better i suppose. If anyone can offer info, i would appreciate lots!

    all they do is even out the pressure under the carb so you get a slightly smoother throttle response

    "dudex" is right. So far nobody has proven a noticable performance gain with boost bottles so only use them if your engine comes with one...don't buy one cause its a waste of money unless you are a very serious racer and even then, most people don't use them. BTW, does anyone know if boost bottles are ROAR and IFMAR legal?

    wow

    some say it smoothens power curve and transition from high rpm to idle, vice versa. IMO this can help dramaticly, as seen on real cars when they smoothen out power curves. what u all think>

    boost bottle helps accel. slightly as claimed on towerhobbies.com. no power increase tho =\

    it will smooth the throttle band which will make acceleration smoother but not necessarily faster. it will make it slightly easier to drive though.
