The last Boxcar. This train goes from on corner and curves all the way around to the other end of my layout. I could only fit 1 more car on there before it would be against the wall.

Thanks LM, I just spent about 3 hours last night wheathering the 9 container cars and 22 Containers. Next step is to wheather the BNSF Dash 8-40B and the rest of my CNW Ballast Hoppers, and a few quad hoppers. :D :)

Ill do another train when I finish them.

Thanks Steve, I love container cars too. I think that they just look soooo good when they are loaded with the 48' or 53' containers on top :D :D . Unfortunitly, I ran out of 48' containers :curse: for the tops of the 9 cars so I had to put one car with 2 40' containers.

As for the layout pictures, Im kinda at a stand still for right now cause Im a little short on money right now. But when christmas rolls around, Ill have the entire steel mill complex in my hands and just waiting to be built. bounce7 bounce7 I also need to get some more flextrack and switches.

I have also been coming up with a N-scale layout for under my layout table.

I like contaner cars except for one problem - the 3, 4, and 5 packs of articulated cars make a problem for storage (and transport). My layout yard is small. It cannot hold all of my container cars. I don't have a staging yard yet either. Therefore, the container cars need some place to sit other than on the tracks.

One of the things on my wish list is to build a big staging yard.

Nothing wrong with that. In reality, I mostly see 40' 53' and 20' containers; quite few 45' or 48'. Also, I see the longer container on the bottom almost as often as on top. Of course, that most often occurs in cars with 53' wells... The most common well length is 53', but there are a lot of 40', and a few 48' wells.

I have all 48' wells. I just need to get some 53' wells and some 53' containers now. Have you guys herd that Athearn is coming out with 53' containers on trailer chassis? I am so exited for them to come out!!! :D :)

Your weathering looks great, I think weathering really makes a model railroad stand out. Just one additional comment, it's your railroad and I'm not really a rivet-counterand I don't mean to be offensive; but that EL roofwalk boxcar would never be seen on a BNSF train, it does look out of place. Roofwalks disappeared more than 20 years before BNSF came about.

O WOW, Thanks Santafewillie, I didn't know that.:D :) Ill make sure in the future to leave that one out or just take the roofwalk off.

Thanks for the compliments on the weathering too :)

Here is another train I put together. This time it's mostly a ballast train.
