    Hello

Here it is the model of the Bloodwing, a Klingon ship from the game Starfleet Command 2 - Orion Pirates.

The mesh was created for the game by Cleeve (www.STARYARDS.com), a very talented modeller, who kindly allow me to share the model for free with the paper modelling community :D :thumb:

I really like this design, it's not just a kitbashing of other Klingon ship, but a entirelly new and original design, although still keeping the Klingon look and style (great work Cleeve!!).

The scale is roughly 1:1000, which make it consistent with other Start Trek ships released by other modellers.

I made a complete set of assembly instructions for it, I hope it helps.

The model file (in PDO format) and instructions are in my FileFront folder:

    shiftdel41 Folder - FileFront.com

I can upload my models here too, if interested, even a PDF version of the model, for who prefer this format.

I forgot to say, the ship's color is dark green, at the pics it looks slight blue, probably due to the camera flash

The pics below shows my metasequoia model and the profile of the ship, by Cleeve

Yeah, Nexus, Cleeve did a great job on this ship, I plan to unfold more of his models, one is already going well, because it is based on this design.

The other beautiful baby, the Kvek, will give me more trouble, but it is on my to do list.

Below are the pics of those ships

    Very nice, Nothing, thanks.

HereI I have another design on my to do list, this time a Federation ship by Atolm, 3D mesh by Cleeve... I think for this one I will need to ask permission for them both to release the model...

I wasn't as keen on the Soulwolf myself. I like it's direction but feel the nacelle pylons are in the wrong place. That's just me though. :)

One of the Federation ships at that site is the Eximus Class, very nice and sleek.

Thats an awesome looking model SD, I'll definitely have to find some time to build that one. If you're taking requests, I'd also like to suggest the Achilles class and the Valdore...

Both are on my to do list already, they were put on hold while I was working on my Mechwarrior models. At the moment I'm working on 3 other Star trek ships (4, if counting the Kleev).

Love the K'Vek and the Soulwolf as well. They're both really nice looking ships.

Nice Model! but from where did you have the Mesh for Metaseq? or how do you convert the original mesh?

I used the SFC MOD file as a starting point, then I did convert it with Milk Shape 3D for a more suitable format (OBJ, 3DS or LWO, don't remember which one I used this time), and then used Metasequoia to cleaning the mesh, and re-done the entire texture mapping, as I'd loose it in the process...

It's from the game Starfleet Command 2 - Orion Pirates.

To estimate the lenght, I'd put it side by side with other ship of the game, with an already known size (in this case, the Klingon D7), and just calculate the difference.

Btw, the completed model has 18,2 cm in lenght, which means 182 meters at 1/1000 scale.
