Its not belief its the truth, as said I am learning to fly model heli's and my model uses a Bell Hiller head system (yes the same Bell as the Huey) so it works exactly the same as the huey and no way on this earth does the rotor disk tilt, for a start up elevator would tilt the disk into the tail boom and secondly the gyroscopic forces envolved in a rotor disk would negate the ability to be able to move it around. If you still don't believe me have a read through this its not the most technical of articles but does make all the baiscs clear, interesting reading for all you heli fans as well.

    I'm somewhat puzzled here...

People are talking about Choppers flying, when it is a well known article of faith (for we of the fixed wing belief) that they:

    A. merely perform a crude act of levitation...

    B. the Earth rejects them in disgust...

Remember if the wing is not fixed, then it is still broken...

    Hi folks,........

during the discussion about how a heli works, I built the cabins sliding doors and the cockpit doors.

The cabins doors are not movable but the cockpit doors..........

Looks bloody good to me. . . .

After looking at that mess of an instruction sheet under the model.
Don't see too many helicopters in this forum - makes life interesting.

Looking not too shabby at all.

For a flingwing that is... ;-)

Seriously though, I wish I could work that cleanly.

By the way, does anyone know this patch? Is it a real one or only phantasy ?

@chief400, the skid is made from wire, wrapped with the kits paperpieces...
